With more than 15 years of experience studying, conducting research, and working in South Korea and the United States, Dr. Hong Phuong Nguyen has a deep understanding of the challenges international students face—from choosing the right academic program and preparing competitive applications to securing a student visa, adapting to a new educational environment, and building a successful career after graduation.
Degree and Position: He currently serves as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia (UVA)—one of the top public research universities in the United States.
